Oroville Hospital offers a superior childbirth experience with the addition of midwifery services. As certified practitioners, midwives are extensively trained to guide women through pregnancy, childbirth and the period after birth. Oroville Hospital's midwives practice a shared-care approach, which enables patients to become familiar with each midwife before delivery. Their hands-on approach gives patients and their partners confidence in the birthing process, enabling a smooth transition to motherhood. In addition to pregnancy care, our midwives also provide health care for women of all ages.
