Making a Difference
Oroville Hospital Team Dedicated to Community Health
Farmers’ Market
Eating fresh foods is an important part of a healthy lifestyle. That is why Oroville Hospital hosts a weekly farmers’ market from May through September every Wednesday. We want to provide an easy way for the community to have access to fresh foods. Employees volunteer their time to answer questions and provide healthy tips on incorporating fresh foods into your diet.
Annual Health Fair
Every year Oroville Hospital hosts a health fair for the community. The health fair is a way patients and community members can interact with and ask questions to representatives of all the hospital departments. The hospital provides free educational information, free health care advice, and free health screenings. The health fair gives you a chance to see what services and resources are available from our hospital.
3K Salmon Color Dash
Each September Oroville Hospital hosts its 3K Salmon Color Dash, a run/walk along the Feather River. This family friendly community event promotes physical activity and wellness in a fun and safe environment. Participants are showered in colored powder along the 3K course, making exercise fun and enaging while the miles fly by.
