Dr. Mustafa Chopan is a plastic surgeon who recently completed his fellowship at the University of Washington and has relocated to Oroville Hospital to offer new services. Born and raised in Sacramento, Dr. Chopan earned his undergraduate degree at UC Davis and pursued his medical studies at the University of Vermont College of Medicine. He completed his residency at the University of Florida College of Medicine.
Dr. Chopan places a strong emphasis on building connections with his patients to help them navigate challenging times, believing this is crucial for achieving the best procedural outcomes and creating an effective care plan. His most common procedures are reduction mammoplasty, breast reconstruction and skin cancer surgery.
In his free time, Dr. Chopan enjoys outdoor activities with his family. A former member of the men's soccer team at UC Davis, he is fluent in both English and Farsi.
