Roxanna Arakozie, DO is a California native, born and raised in the Bay Area. She joined the Oroville Hospital Dermatology team in November of 2020.
Dr. Arakozie received her Molecular, Cell and Developmental Biology degree from UC Santa Cruz and then went on to receive her advanced degree in Osteopathic Medicine from Touro University Nevada, Las Vegas. From there she completed her residency in Dermatology at Broward General Medical Center, Fort Lauderdale. She is board certified, specializing in dermatology and dermatologic surgery. Some procedures that Dr. Arakozie performs are cryotherapy, skin cancer excisions, and removal of non-cancerous lesions.
Skin is the largest organ of the body and can often provide clues to internal disease. That is why Dr. Arakozie is dedicated to providing excellent dermatological care to every one of her patients, while ensuring that all their medical needs are addressed. Dr. Arakozie believes her genuine personality, compassion and nurturing nature will bring great care to all her patients no matter their age or skin condition.
When she is not working, Dr. Arakozie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking, hiking and traveling.
