Yewande Adepoju, DO joined Oroville Hospital in 2020 to become the leading specialty physician overseeing the new Endocrinology Department.
Dr. Adepoju was born and raised in Nigeria and later moved overseas to further her education. She completed her internal medicine residency at Berkshire Medical Center in Massachusetts. From there, she completed her endocrinology fellowship at Marshall University in West Virginia. Dr. Adepoju became intrigued by the interconnectivity of the human hormonal system and how it affects a person’s overall health and metabolism, leading her to a career in Endocrinology. Dr. Adepoju decided to join Oroville Hospital so she could become a part of a team that delivers high quality and equitable care among all its patients. She believes that with her vast medical background, she will bring dedication, compassion, and exemplary care to all her patients.
When Dr. Adepoju isn’t in the office, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, reading and artistry activites.
