Eric Neal MD has been a pediatrician since 1996 and began working at Oroville Hospital in 2001. He was born in Portland, Oregon and raised in Vacaville, California. After joining the Army and going to medical school out of state, he knew he wanted to come back. Oroville seemed like the best fit for him and his family. Dr. Neal decided to become a pediatrician because he liked working with children. He is involved in three Oroville Hospital committees including the Executive, Perinatology/Pediatrics, and Quality Assurance committees. When he’s not busy working at Oroville Hospital Dr. Neal stays active by playing sports and participates in a local bowling league. He has been on three missionary trips to Africa, spending two weeks at a time providing medical care to under served communities. He is also active in his church, where he serves as a youth leader.
